A crowdfunding for a bar? No kidding? Yes! Because it needs us: do you miss the real Italian bar in Lucerne like we do, as it exists in every Italian city? The bar where they serve the best (we really mean that as a superlative) coffee? Real Espressi and Cappuccini like in bella Italia? Served standing at the bar: strong, powerful and good. Then help us to buy the best coffee machine. For the best espresso ever.

We don't sell just any coffee, but blends as they are used in Italy by a small roasting company from Ticino. Since espressos require different blends of beans than for example coffee crème, we need different large, professional coffee grinders.

We are lucky to be able to rent the area in the entrance in the middle of Lucerne, at Hertensteinstrasse 50 - in the new shopping centre that will open at the end of March 2020. But to get started, we still need the heart of every Italian bar: the coffee machine.
So that we can brew the best coffee ( in other words: the superlative), we also need the best coffee maker. The Mustang among the coffee machines is the Slim Jim from Kees van der Westen.

More gastronomy? Isn't it already too much? These are all

However, we are convinced that the location on one of Lucerne's busiest streets and the focus on a narrow product range are the key success factors. We were able to negotiate an advantageous contract with the owners of the property with a contract period of 5 years and an option for a further 5 years.
