Project Overview

Each winter skate scene in Serbia is struggling with the rough weather and spaces to ride, because there is no indoor place made for skateboarders. We often use shopping center garages, halls, and underground passages, but this is not good enough and cold enters the bones quickly. If you have luck, you skate for an hour, and if you not, you get kicked out by security or police.

Why we need it

Most riders are not active trough winter and they are seeking for a space to protect them from the winter cold and bad weather. Furthermore, most of the young generations has very few options when it comes to common shared space that are not privatized (bars, clubs...). Our organization is lookin forward to offer Belgrade's youth a safe place of gathering and exchanges where they can be reunited around values such as healthcare, solidarity and mutual help trough action sports.

What we gonna do

A few winter ago, our crew rented a small place and made a small indoor skate park. Now we want to create sustainable place for skateboarding and skateboarders that would last for many winters. We just need your help so we can build a solid skate mini ramp and ride sheltered.

Our crew

Our crew stands behind a lot of skate and art events in Belgrade in the last five years, with a focus on the four-day skate festival SAMIT NESVRSTANIH - « Summit of the non aligned ». Since the first years of the festival, each year we are building more and more DIY concrete skate elements under Brankov bridge and accessible all year when the weather allows it. Besides that, we are also involved in the creation of numerous skate and nonskate movies.
