Creation for Douban

From December 21 to January 4, 2018, I was invited to Jerusalem to create a choreography with the local dance company DOUBAN. The company under the artistic direction of dancer Hanna Tams was founded in 2013 with the aim to promote professional dance of the Palestinian youth and to establish common grounds with other cultures within our world. The choreography will be part of the full-length show "SALAL", which will be performed in January 2018 in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth and Ramallah. The main sponsor of the Company is the Collège des Frères de La Salle of Jerusalem (CdF) and a handful of individuals who believe in and support the idea of ​​DOUBAN. The company provides me travel and accommodation, but is not financially able to pay me a salary. For this purpose, I am now addressing you and you have the opportunity to support me and my work with DOUBAN Dance Company. It is important for me to be able to continue my work in Palestine, which started in 2011, and to support the dancers in their efforts for professionalism and development.
