As part of their European tour this year, the University of Santo Tomas Singers are performing in Switzerland for the second time, to the delight of many fans. The choir is one of the best choirs in the world. Under the direction of Prof. Fidel G. Calalang Jr., the choir offers a unique, breathtaking sound experience with a diverse program from sacred works to chamber music to Broadway songs and Filipino songs.

The University of Santo Tomas Singers, also known as the "UST Singers", are the leading mixed choral ensemble of Asia's oldest university, the University of Santo Tomas Manila, Philippines. The choir was founded in 1992 by Prof. Fidel Calalang Jr. and is composed of students and alumni from the university's various colleges.

As two-time winners of the title “Choir of the World” (1995 and 2010), the University of Santo Tomas Singers have achieved over 80 main prizes at international competitions and among others
making them one of the best choirs in the world.

As part of this year's European tour, the UST Singers will be performing in Switzerland in September.

Under the direction of Prof. Fidel G. Calalang Jr., the choir offers a unique, breathtaking sound experience with a diverse program from sacred works to chamber music to Broadway songs and Filipino songs.

All concerts are admission free. The proceeds from the collection are intended to cover part of the choir's travel costs.

We need your support to cover the costs of the concert halls, piano rentals and piano tunings, AV equipments, advertisements, flyers, posters, program booklets, transportation, and meals for the choir. In this context, we kindly ask you to support us with a contribution.

Who we are:

For the second time, I am organizing concerts with my former choir, the University of Santo Tomas Singers from Manila, in Switzerland. As a former choir member of this choir, I toured with them worldwide for 7 years and won more than 10 main prizes in choral competitions in Europe, America and Asia.

It is a privilege to be able to organize concerts for the University of Santo Tomas Singers in Switzerland: Bern, Schaffhausen and in Winterthur. When you hear the UST Singers live, you get goosebumps and admire the different sounds that this choir can produce.

With my successful experience in 2017, where I organized the concert for the UST Singers in Schaffhausen for the first time, I am confident that they will once again fascinate their audience and rouse them to applause.
