Helpline listeners across Europe are available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, at any time of need for people in emotional distress. To improve their skills and service quality, they need knowledge and insights from experts. By supporting our campaign you will help provide enriching educational video contents full of valuable insights, accessible online in English, French, German, Italian to 20.000 volunteers in emotional support services.

Do you know the power of a listening ear?
One year ago, on 18 October, we launched the 22nd IFOTES Congress "Winds of Hope– Acceptance and Capacity for Change"– an international event that brought together 1.000 volunteer listeners from helplines across Europe.
One year later, IFOTES has launched the *Friends of Listeners* crowdfunding campaign to extend the impact of that congress. Our goal is to make the valuable training content from the congress available to all 20.000 IFOTES volunteers, even those who couldn’t attend, ensuring that volunteers can continue to grow their skills and provide essential emotional support.

Friends of Listeners Campaign Reaches €1.310 in First Week
The Friends of Listeners crowdfunding campaign has made a promising start, raising €1.310 in its first week. We are grateful to our early supporters for their generosity and the growing community of “Friends of listeners” who value our campaign's mission.

The funds raised will be used to create multilingual educational video-resources in English, French, German and Italian to improve listeners' skills and knowledge in emotional support.
