Included in the total is the setting of this project on Crowdify (> we would love to support this great platform 😊).

There are already so many exciting Swiss producers, small businesses, associations and initiatives with sustainable and meaningful offers - the better their products are found, the more their offers are in demand, the greater the positive influence we can have together on our regional economy, society and nature.

GreenPick becomes your sustainability compass. As a web app, GreenPick aims to make sustainable Swiss companies and organizations visible – according to your personal criteria and from over 50 sectors, such as food, clothing, health, mobility, culture, housing, travel, education, construction or services.
On the homepage «www.GreenPick.app», which is optimized for the use on-the-go, you will be able to find sustainable offers in three ways: Via keyword entry, a location-based search or by browsing through the categories. You will also have the freedom to filter the offers according to our 20 sustainability criteria. The businesses and organizations with the matching offer will be displayed as a list or map and presented in clearly arranged profiles.

Whether consistently sustainable or increasingly conscious, GreenPick wants to help people live a more regional, climate-friendly and healthier lifestyle. For example, we would also like to provide a sustainability compass to those people who only occasionally make sustainable decisions because they do not find the time in their everyday lives to research alternatives or are not yet aware of them. The application remains free of charge and free of advertising for users.
GreenPick is aimed exclusively at small and medium-sized Swiss enterprises (SME), associations or foundations that are involved in at least three areas of sustainability (e.g. regional, organic and barrier-free), and who want to make their commitment visible on a credible platform. Businesses and organizations that meet these values are accepted free of charge. If they would like more visibility and recommendations, they can support our work as a social employer with 1.– or 2.– Swiss franks per day.

A survey with students of the FHNW as well as 1:1 conversations with private individuals and change makers have motivated us to develop GreenPick.

For the development of GreenPick we have founded a company, Green Now, and have now a social-hybrid structure together with the Nivens Verein. Through close cooperation with the SVA Zurich and the IV offices, we can offer people with different abilities a meaningful workplace and support apprentices in their training.
We want to build a meaningful, climate-positive business model and, together with people and organisations committed to sustainability, promote climate-friendly, regional diversity in Switzerland.
