Kids Camp Brasil
Promote Kids Camp Brazil: Fulfilling football dreams!
Project Overview
Welcome to Kids Camp Brazil! Your generous support not only enables children to improve their soccer skills but also to learn valuable lessons in social development and teamwork. Your donation helps ensure that every child has the opportunity to participate in this transformative experience while appreciating the values of sports and community.
We want to offer this opportunity free of charge, without hidden costs, to children and teenagers who don't have the financial means to enroll in soccer training, let alone participate. Each child will receive a T-shirt and a medal, and on the last day, there will be a celebration with tournaments.
This allows the children to fully enjoy themselves, and parents don't have to worry about keeping their children entertained during the holidays to prevent boredom.
During this week, the children will not only be encouraged in soccer skills but also learn social competencies to better navigate daily life.
We founded the association '4 The Future' to provide opportunities and activities related to sports for children and young people from financially disadvantaged families.
Our goal is to spread joy, fun, and respect both domestically and abroad. We aim to foster the social skills of young people and help them discover and develop their athletic talents.
By establishing this association, we want to contribute to a fairer world. We hope to inspire others to support the next generation, encouraging more people to get involved in the future.
Together, we can shape and change the future. Ultimately, the saying holds true: 'Sports unite'."
I am Christian, 25 years old, and I have been a Football Coach for 6 years. I have gained experience in both children's and youth soccer and continue to do so with great enthusiasm. My motivation for this project is to offer children and young people in Brazil similar opportunities to those we have here in Switzerland: "Experiencing Football and fostering social skills."
My name is Mitja Wehrli, I am 23 years old, and I am committed to the "Kids Camp Brazil" project because I want to use my privileged position to bring a little joy to children and young people who are less fortunate.
I am currently studying Educational Science at the bachelor's level and have been working for several years as a daycare supervisor with children in a Bern school district. Additionally, I am an assistant coach for two soccer teams at FC Köniz. I have been playing soccer in a club for over 15 years. Social engagement, especially in connection with soccer, has always interested me. Consequently, I wrote my high school thesis on the topic "Social Projects in Soccer - Motivation and Goals of Social Engagement."
I support the "Kids Camp Brazil" project because I have always wanted to help people who are less privileged and have fewer financial resources. I see this project as an opportunity to use soccer to enhance the social skills of young people, foster solidarity and a sense of community, and provide them with a break from their daily lives.
