ManaBar - COVID Support
Support us to preserve ManaBar and all that is part of it.
Project Overview
ManaBar is a project by the nonprofit organization VAISk, whose goal is to unite all of what game culture has to offer. Combine that with an amazing dedicated Cocktailbar and a partnership with our neighbour Dominos Pizza. A perfect evening out with friends, family, or even your date? The Covid pandemic really challenges our financial situation.

With it, we aim to improve the ambiance and make your stay that much more memorable. -

OUTDOORS
----------------------------------------------------
Even though our indoor game is pretty strong, when summer hits and the heat waves radiate down on our lovely Basel I think we can all agree that we’d rather be outside.
We have made it our goal to use the backyard of our apartment complex and turn it into an outdoor sitting area where our guests can relax in the shade and enjoy the summer breeze with a refreshing drink. This would also allow us to get through the summer slump and give you the bar you deserve!
With your contribution, you will help us finance our location during its closure but also you will be prepurchasing goodies that you will be able to use on your next visit to ManaBar! For instance a 2-for-1 voucher, a t-shirt, a fancy ManaBar mask, and many more.
Without you, we would not be able to offer this meeting place for the gaming culture in and around Basel. We would love to continue to serve you a fancy and tasty drink while you play board games or eSports with your loved ones.
We hope you enjoy our various rewards and wish you happy holidays. Together we will make it through this tough time.
Stay healthy and playful.
ManaBar is a local project of our non-profit organization VAISk, whose aim is to unite and inform about Game Culture in and around Switzerland. Within this location, we try to offer our guests a place to enjoy a fun and tasty evening by combining game culture with bar culture. On the other hand, we would also like to enlighten our community about all facts behind the game culture by organizing open debates, talks, and even game design classes to show them all aspects of Game culture. All of this inside the four walls of ManaBar.
My role is to maintain and evolve the ManaBar project. Although ManaBar is already open and running, Covid makes it very tough to survive. Before the pandemic, ManaBar kept growing in its concept and numbers of visitors. It is for our community that we must find a way to overcome these challenging times until we can be back open for our fans without any restriction.
