Micro Brewery St. Gallen
Brew Union St. Gallen - 2 Brewer, 1 Brewery
Project Overview
Two hobby brewer have teamed up to brew first class craft beer in one shared brewery and to push the flourishing Swiss beer culture forward.
But why rent a place and buy a bigger brewhouse, if it won't be fully occupied anyway?
Two hobby brewer, who brew with heart and passion, united in one room. Two breweries in one brewery... Thats how we save resources and ensure the diversity of craft beer.
Like that, 80 hl beer can be brewed a year in one hobby brewery, but from two different brewers.
To us, 80 hl of beer mean 50 different types of beer.
Beers will be sold from the ramp and in different bars and restaurants and will be poured on public and private brewery events.
Patrick is still looking for a brewery name and is open for ideas!
Both brewers brew their beer with heart and true dedication. Together we share the vision to spread the diversity of this drink and change the perception of beer.
At the beginning of this adventure, a sketch was created. Have a look below to get a picture.
Walls have been opened, mounted and painted. The floor was polished and coated. Water drains were installed. A sink was constructed and built, a steam discharge, shelves and tables were mounted.
Below a picture of the actual status and picture of the first week.
In order to stop brewing on our two 30 liter systems and go big right away we need your support! With all the goodies you'll have our greatest gratitude - forever!
2016 I visited the brewery BCB in St. Gallen. That visit arouse my interest in brewing my own beer. Shortly after that together with a few friends I founded the 899. brewery in Switzerland. But my urge to brew fancy and strong beers couldn't be saturated there, so I decided to continue brewing on my own.
Eine grössere Brauerei muss her.
