Project Overview

I'm a concert pianist, living in Basel. It's about time to record my first solo album! Would you help to make my dream come true? I started to play the piano when I was five. Since then I played many solo recitals all over the world. Some of them were broadcast by radio and television (SRF, RTS Espace 2, BBC 3, Radio Bremen). However, so far I've been never recording solo program specifically.

Story

Initially my plan was to record it in Moscow on my own expenses, but this weird year brought a lot of changes in my life and made it impossible. Since I don't want to postpone this project anymore, I've decided to make it here, in Switzerland! Unfortunately it requires extra money, but I'm sure with your help and support I can manage it!

What music I record?

For my first album I chose the special program, composed of pieces from Romanticism period. This music is so dear to my heart! The central part of my program is Piano sonata No.1 op. 1 C-dur of Johannes Brahms. This piece is a real masterpiece, but not so often performed on stage. This will be followed by 6 songs of Franz Schubert in Ferenz Liszt's transcription (Sei mir gegrüsst, Gretchen am Spinnrade, Aufenthalt, Morgenständchen, Taubenpost, Der Dopplergänger), which form a dramaturgical line. Rachmaninov's Six Moments Musicaux op. 16 complete the album as music of XX century.

Budget of the project

The budget of my project is 20.000 CHF, it's included my contribution of 5.000 CHF and 3.000 CHF from one private Foundation. In total I need 12.000. The whole process of recording and releasing CD will be made exclusively in Switzerland, thereby you support not only me, but the industry of sound-recording in these difficult times.

Why it's important for me

Solo album is a visit card for every musician. It'd help me to develop my full potential and to open new doors in musical world!

Musician

I'm a classical pianist, 25 yo. Prizewinner of some major international piano competitions. My motivation is to bring some good music in the best quality for people who appreciate classical music (and not only).
