Pizza tastes, without exception, best directly from a 300°C stone oven - hot and crispy. After 10min delivery time the quality already decreases strongly. Under no circumstances do we want to deliver soggy and cold pizza to your summer apero, to your birthday party or even to your wedding. That's why we need our Pizza Bike - a mobile mini kitchen with 2 gas-powered pizza ovens!
Stripped Pizza was founded in 2016 in Zurich with the mission: to provide pizza as a wholesome meal without additives, flavor enhancers and colorants. That's where our name "Stripped" comes from: free of any additives.
The recipes are self-created to ensure that each pizza is also balanced and wholesome. This means high levels of fiber, nutrients, proteins and vitamins. We continually develop our dishes so that they are even more wholesome. For example, we enrich our pizzas with vegetables whenever possible.
We very much care about product quality. The ingredients are always fresh, of high quality and are carefully prepared by hand. The dough as well as the sauce are prepared daily on site according to our own recipe. Our dough proofs for 48 hours so that it is nice and airy and also more digestible. We currently offer four different doughs. Multigrain dough for lovers of "traditional" pizza dough. Whole wheat dough with flaxseed for prudent gourmets. Gluten-free dough for foodies with gluten intolerance. And a new broccoli dough, which consists of one third fresh broccoli, for those who prefer a wholesome pizza base.
I've been part of Stripped Pizza since the beginning, starting as a food science intern, then taking over operations, and now I'm the CEO of the company. I helped building the concept and experienced all the ups and (Corona) downs along the way.
My great passion is good food - where it comes from, how it is made, how it tastes and what it can also do. Now I am very happy to build up our own catering together with our great team and finally offer our pizza in best quality all over the city.
With many years of gastronomy experience in various countries - from London to Germany - I joined Stripped Pizza just over 3 years ago. I manage the operations and our teams, and am also responsible for new business ideas.
So I really want to bring the topic "real food" and also sustainability, which is very and more and more close to my heart, among the people. I see the Catering Bike as a great opportunity to bring our pizza and our values to the people with small means.
