The Anthronauts Album
The Anthronauts record their first studio album!
Project Overview
We are The Anthronauts, from Zurich. In four years we have grown into a ten-piece Afrobeat band that has toured all over Switzerland. Now we are working hard to release our first studio album. Why? First of all because of our love for music: We have written new songs that we want to put into a worthy format. And: An album opens new doors for us. Will you help us to make it a reality?

Artwork. The album is ready for the digital release. But what would the most beautiful album be without artwork? We organize a photo shooting and have our album and the promotion material tastefully designed.
Steeped in the musical and political history of Nigeria, Afrobeat nevertheless has become a global musical phenomenon of today. Bands all over the world, from Brazil to Japan, pay homage to the unparalleled creativity of West African musicians while at the same time updating the genre.
The Freiplatzaktion Zürich is an independent association that works for a humane asylum and migration policy. In this context, humane means that its legal and political work is oriented towards the concerns and needs of asylum seekers and migrants. This also includes a commitment to unrestricted access to rights and to full participation opportunities.
The Freiplatzaktion offers professional advice on asylum and migration law, brings legal grievances to public attention, and is involved in local and national political projects. They understand their work as activist legal work.
The Anthronauts are a Swiss Afrobeat band of the third generation. Their music is fed by the timeless music of the ancestors of Afrobeat as well as by the innovations of second-generation bands like Antibalas from Brooklyn, New York. They remain true to the musical principles of the genre, but also play with influences from rock, jazz, and dub.
After three years full of work on compositions, rehearsals, and numerous live gigs, The Anthronauts are now ready to present their own vision of Afrobeat to an international audience - with your help!
Wolf is the bassist and a founding member of the Anthronauts. Not a man for the limelight, he prefers to come up with projects non-stop and provides the hypnotic steady groove in the background
