The Mobile Dental Clinic
Humanitarian Mission at the Border of Syria
Project Overview
The Mobile Dental Clinic is a humanitarian project, founded by the Swiss Airline Pilot Andreas Herzog and hosted by the Swiss non-profit organisation NOIVA. The clinic is medically operated by the Jordanian Dentist Dr. Gaith al Sarhan. Together with his team, he treats people in need so that they can eat and sleep again without pain. After a successful test phase, we need your help to start our regular operation. Be part of our mission!
Funding goals
-
Stage 1:
24.500 CHF
100% funded
With 24.500 CHF we can invest in a crew bus which we need to transport our employees and equipment. Furthermore we will be able to finance minimum 500 treatments in our clinic.
Already with a donation of 100CHF 5-6 patients can be treated.
-
Finish Stage:
48.000 CHF
103% funded
With 48.000 CHF we can buy a crew bus and our regular operations will be financed for many month. At least 1500 treatments can be done and 4 jobs created. After this initial phase our services will be funded by our sponsors, volunteers and a small service charge of our patients. All donations exceeding the target amount of 48.000 CHF will entirely be used for patients with complex and extensive dental treatments. All administrative costs are covered by volunteering, sponsors and private means. Every Swiss franc and euro collected by our crowdfunding will solely be used for the operation of our Mobile Dental Clinic.

Prevention is an important part of our daily work. We advise families and especially children on what basic dental hygiene means for their health and provide dental hygiene kits.
Furthermore we have created 4 jobs so far in a region where the unemployment rate among young people is at 40%. This gives our employees and their families social and financial stability. Jordanian doctors work as volunteers in the clinic.
Our international team of Jordanians, Syrians and Swiss are happy to help everybody in need independent of background and religion. With an open heart and humanity NOIVA helps building a peaceful community and reconciliation in the Middle East.
We are happy to provide you with a certificate of donation for this purpose on request: spendenbescheinigung@noiva.ch
After a successful end of the project you will get the certificate.
NOIVA is a Swiss non-profit organisation founded in 2010 in Winterthur. We provide humanitarian help in crisis regions and foster reconciliation through peace projects.
Over the last two years we have built a mobile dental clinic in Jordan, close to the Syrian border where hundreds and thousands of refugees struggle with the consequences of the war in their home country. We are dedicated to provide long desired and desperately needed treatment to those in need.
I care about people and I want to create perspective for those in need. I want to build a place where they can recover from their sufferings especially caused by the devastating war in Syria.
I am an airline captain and in my spare time I was on several humanitarian missions for our foundation NOIVA. During the last two years I have been setting up our Mobile Dental Clinic in Jordan with the help of 80 friends, volunteers and sponsors. It was fantastic to see the happiness in the people's faces after the first treatments during the trial period of our operations. Our clinic is now ready for starting its regular service and for that we need your help! By helping other people we change the world. Be part of this change!
Feel free to contact me personally via andi.herzog@noiva.ch if you have any questions about the project.
I see access to basic health care as a human right, not a privilege, that should be afforded to everybody.
Like Andi I am a pilot for a big Swiss airline. It is a privilege to be part of this humanitarian project which builds on the effort of many volunteers and charity. The crowdfunding is your chance to support the Mobile Dental Clinic!
Our clinic gives people a chance to receive a desperately desired treatment and helps to make them feel better. This is fantastic!
