out of misery thanks to a carpenter apprenticeship
Project Overview
Get out of misery thanks to a carpenter training after Swiss-model. This is the goal of the project-responsible organization Gira Solidário, which offers each year up to 15 young people from the favelas a chance to overcome poorness. An apprenticeship requires CHF 5'000.- per year and person. With this crowd-funding project we would like to be able to finance up to two apprenticeships for one year.

This by providing a carpenter's apprenticeship based on the Swiss model, but taking into account the brazilian culture. These young people receive an excellent training. Certified specialists of GIRA Solidário from socio-pedagogical and technical fields comprehensively train the young people and prepare them for an independent life.
Thanks to this training, these young people have the doors to working life wide open, which enables them to provide themselves and their family environment with a viable future.

As a strategic advisor to the team Switzerland I belong to the association's board. In addition to my role as a consultant with a critical mind, I am primarily involved in fundraising activities.
