Beit el Baraka runs elegant free supermarket in Beirut, which makes people in need feel they are “shopping”, not seeking charity. The Azar family cultivate a garden in the hills of Beirut. They produce amazing organic fruits and vegetables, but they are struggling selling. Boosters pay the farmers products, he delivers straight to the free supermarket. Lebanese struggle through economic collapse and the devastating explosion of august 4, 2020.

Things take a little longer in Lebanon compared to Switzerland but mish mashkale at all. (no problem :)

The first freshly harvested organic vegetables and fruits are delivered to Beit el Baraka.

Thank you all so much - 3 more days and the crowdfunding project will come to an end. All the money raised will be given to the local producer. The coordination process for the delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables to the "Free-Supermarket" has already started. I have posted one last goodie - go for it :)

Thank you all from the heart ! I am very touched by your support. Whether big or small, every contribution is very appreciated. I would like to thank the anonymous contributor of CHF 500.00 (!) here especially! The whole project came up very spontaneously during my 2 weeks vacations in Lebanon; back in Switzerland I have your goodies in my luggage which are almost sold out. The project is almost 100% boosted and I decided to continue with it for the remaining days. With more money, we will deliver organic fruits and vegetables to the "Free Supermarket" in Beirut for a longer period of time and this makes the project more sustainable and even better !
