Project Overview

We help immigrants (mainly refugees) in Canton Lucerne to find a suitable leisure activity. The immigrants get to know local people, learn Swiss German and integrate better into Swiss society. The clubs/associations can access new talent from different cultures and profit from a diverse membership group. The better a society integrates newcomers, the more successful it is. Please support us!

Voucher for lunch at Sentitreff
Do something different for lunch! At Sentitreff (Baselstrasse 21, Lucerne) vegetarian menus are prepared by a team of volunteers. No one sits alone at the table at Sentitreff. A wide variety of people meet here: young families, craftsmen, senior citizens and students from the neighbourhood or from all over the world. Regulars and occasional visitors enjoy lively discussions over healthy food. In good weather we can also enjoy eating outside in the inner courtyard.

The menu includes salad/soup, main course, dessert and coffee
When it's gone, it's gone! Groups are welcome to book one day in advance.

Voucher for 1 x Shop&Food-Tour for 1 person including a meal in Lucerne’s BaBeL neighbourhood
A culinary world tour in Lucerne. Discover Lucerne's most colourful neighbourhood with a "Shop&Food-Tour" along Baselstrasse!

During this a guided tour, you will visit food shops with products from Africa, Central America and Asia. You will learn new things about countries and people, products and recipes. Afterwards you will be served a delicious dinner from one of the "visited" countries (Mexico, Sri Lanka, Iran, Tibet, Afghanistan or Eritrea, depending on your booking).

The tours start at 5 pm at the latest. On Saturdays at 3 pm at the latest. The meeting point is at Sentitreff at Baselstrasse 21 in Lucerne. The tour of the small food shops lasts two hours.

This experience includes a short introduction, the tour and the meal afterwards, excluding drinks. Water is of course available on the tables. For other drinks with the meal: "bring your own bottle". Tour participants are invited to buy their own drinks during the tour. In the Portuguese shop, for example, there is an interesting selection of wines, and in almost all Baselstrasse shops you will find exciting sweet drinks that you cannot find on the shelves of regular retailers.

Voucher to take part in an introductory course to rowing in Lucerne
Do you fancy trying something new and exciting? With the support of Ruderclub Ruess Luzern, we are very excited to offer one beginner training session for maximum 8 donors to experience the joy of rowing on the beautiful Vierwaldstättersee. This session will hopefully take place in June 2024. The exact date will depend on the weather. This beginner training will last three to four hours and will be under the guidance of rowing expert Urs Eggler. Urs has reassured us that there are hardly any dangerous fish in the lake....😉
