Dear supporters,
We've achieved more than 75%. I am overwhelmed. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your contribution and, above all, for believing in me and this project!
By a stroke of luck, I learned that the Abbey Road Studios (in Room 6) still cut master discs as they always have. (So the original vinyl record, from which robust stampers are made in an elaborate process in the galvanic, which are then used to press records.) I don't want to miss this opportunity, so I'm adding another day to the planned stem mastering session so that the double vinyl album is also cut in London. Yes, in the same room where The Dark Side Of The Moon was cut in 1973, and with the same cutting machine (see photo) as the newly mixed version of Revolver released in 2022.
But more than the music itself, which was processed at the location, the history of music reproduction development within Abbey Road Studios is incredibly impressive and unique. Especially during the war years, a large part of Abbey Road Studios resembled more of a research center, where, for example, vinyl cutting techniques (including by Alan Blumlein) were fundamentally researched and developed.
Since the first goodies are sold out, I have now uploaded two new ones for the final sprint:
(Of course, it is possible to upgrade/expand your existing goodie. Just write me an email at: ramon@nomar.ch)
BlaBlaCar: Bern - London / London Bern (2 x 2 seats)
Due to material transport but also simply for the sake of adventure, I want to take the journey from Bern to London by car in the fall. And for both ways, two seats are still available. (One trip with the car transporter through the Eurotunnel underground there, the second trip then with the ferry across the English Channel back.)
Magic, Vertigo, Dream - Try Outs (2 public bookings)
Before our concert tour in 2025, we need to gather more player experience and explore unconventional performance venues with our multidisciplinary improvisation concept. Because: A performance within the tour should be possible at any location; we don't want to be limited by technical or spatial infrastructure but rather seek appropriate solutions for each venue! In this spirit, our show can be booked for a public try-out in the summer/fall of 2024. (see Video Trailer.)
I sincerely thank all of you for sharing the link to the crowdfunding in your networks during this final stretch. It is incredibly valuable.
I'll be in touch soon.
Warm regards,
Ramon
