Dear friends, family, acquaintances and boosters.
💭 I'm sure many of you are wondering what's next for our film.
We have some good news and some bad news.
🙂 First the good news!
In September we were in Dohuk, Kurdistan and were able to shoot some scenes there!
It was exhausting, sweaty, tiring, breathtaking, wonderful and above all - a great and motivating sense of achievement! Felix, our cameraman, was able to capture the landscapes and locations authentically. A quick look at the raw material already shows how beautiful this film will be one day.
The photos from Kurdistan have now been delivered to us, which means that you will soon be able to see more Behind The Scenes on Facebook.
Be sure to follow us to make sure you don't miss anything!

🙃 And now for the bad news.
Our protagonist Bave Tayaro has been waiting for his visa to shoot in Europe for several months. He is currently back in Syria and is not allowed to leave without a visa. We wanted to continue filming in Europe - in Greece - in October, but without a visa for Bave Tayaro we cannot continue filming. Because without a leading actor there is no film.... The director Ghamkin Saleh is in close contact with the responsible authorities and is working under high pressure to find a solution to the problem. Unfortunately, however, bureaucracy keeps throwing a spanner in the works. Unfortunately, this is why the shoot has been delayed indefinitely.
Nevertheless, we remain in good spirits. On the last set we gained an incredible amount of motivation and are already looking forward to the next stage.
🗣️ As soon as we know more, we will get back to you.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! MERCI! ZOR SPAS!
💖 Love
Ghamkin, Andy, Paul and Laura
