Dear Family, Patrons and Film Friends
We are facing a complex challenge and continue to fight hard for a visa for our main actor. With a Syrian passport it is very difficult to get a work permit in Europe. We want to do everything right and therefore depend on valid papers.
We have already tried several ways and means, which have all been unsuccessful so far. At the moment we are in contact with the consulate in Greece and hope there to get the necessary work visa for our dear Bave Tayaro. Letters of recommendation, visa applications and invitations to Europe are being reviewed in various places but the bureaucracy is a frustrating authority and has kept us on our toes for months now ❗
💪 But we are not giving up and the glimmer of hope on the horizon is small - but it is there!
Ghamkin is in regular contact with our protagonist and the various agencies. It remains to hope that we can make it this summer and then shoot the European scenes soon. Unfortunately we can't promise that. Therefore, we still ask for your patience and above all for your understanding.
📞 If anyone of you has experience with this form of residence permit, we are grateful for any tips, contacts or advice.
As soon as we know more, we will get back to you.
THANK YOU! DANKE! MERCI! ZOR SPAS!
💖 Love greetings
Ghamkin, Andy, Paul and Laura
