We are working with local partners to improve the living conditions of people with physical disabilities in the Casamance region. This particularly includes collecting aids and spare parts, which we send to Senegal. On-site, we are setting up a workshop and creating jobs, where we pass on the knowledge of how to maintain and distribute these aids.

When the order books were full, we were so happy that they wanted exactly that: To learn MUSIC, first one, then two instruments each. For everyday life, for the soul, nothing to do with exceptional talent, simply because they like doing it. And they do it, well and regularly.
Now the bills are coming in and we need your help.
Mt. Zion Nyachebe School
Paul Maurice Onyango
In 2014 Paul Onyango was starting the Project of Mount Zion Nyachebe School to help needy children living in Nyachebe beach. Due to HIV and the strong dependency on fishing many orphans (partly orphans) call Nyachebe Beach their home. Because there is no governmental school and especially young children are not able to walk the far school way to the next neighbouring town Mount Zion Nyachebe School is the only place offering affordable education.
Art to heal:
Eva Garcia
This summer I'll be starting my masters in Expressive Arts Therapy, with the goal of learning how to use dance and other art forms in the healing process for people suffering the mental, emotional and spiritual impact of trauma.
A new adventure, not only for me, but also for my family; an adventure that you have the opportunity to join through this campaign!

I'm at the half of the doctoral school and I need some support. THX!!

"Amchi" - Internship
Rebecca Hertzog
Yeshi Dorjay
Tsering Tundup is a traditional Tibetan doctor, called « amchi » in his mother tongue. He is from Zanskar, a remote valley in the Indian Himalayas. He lives in a small village (Shadey) at an altitude level of about 4500m without road access. To reach his village one has to walk at least 3 days from the capital of Zanskar (Padum).
In winter access to healthcare gets very difficult in Zanskar valley since the entire region is disconnected by roadway during 7 months and it also gets difficult to move inside Zanskar to reach the central health infrastructure in Padum.
Winter is the time of studying, praying and being together for the Zanskari people. The Zanskari love their homeland and trust in their traditional medicine to which especially the people in the remote villages rely on.
Tsering Tundup is intelligent, motivated and wants to deepen his knowledge in Tibetan medicine by doing a 3 months internship in Dharamsala, where the centre of Tibetan medicine studies is. We want to enable him this internship with your help.
Tsering Tundup will give a teaching to his amchi colleagues of what he learned so that his internship will also be beneficial for his amchi colleagues.
