We are working with local partners to improve the living conditions of people with physical disabilities in the Casamance region. This particularly includes collecting aids and spare parts, which we send to Senegal. On-site, we are setting up a workshop and creating jobs, where we pass on the knowledge of how to maintain and distribute these aids.

Please support us in building a safe home for the orphans and half-orphans of the LIWA Children's Center. The old building had to be demolished due to multiple termite infestations. The huge inflation in Kenya is having an additional impact on the cost of the new building. Every contribution helps us to offer the children a safe and stable home in Mombasa in the long term!

This project aims to provide urgent support to displaced families in Lebanon by offering financial assistance for transportation to shelters, safe accommodation, and essential basic needs.

To improve their skills and service quality, they need knowledge and insights from experts. IACAPAP Challenge Grant Phase II is a continuation of the previous project, which was initiated on May 20th, 2024. This crucial initiative is focused on securing funding to support IACAPAP fellowship programs. It aims to provide essential travel grant support to selected fellows participating in the Helmut Remschmidt Research Seminar and the Donald J Cohen Fellowship Program and operating fund to support the Early Career Group development program

After the pandemic, the financial situation is very tense for many families due to high unemployment, galloping inflation and a lack of tourists. With a school fee fund, we want to continue to provide as many children as possible with a sustainable school education. Parents can submit one application for support per school year. The applications are then examined accordingly by the school management and the association.

The IACAPAP Challenge Grant is aimed at raising funds that will support programs, initiatives, activities and events organised by IACAPAP. We are particularly dedicated to developing initiatives for providing emotional support for children and their families living in areas affected by disasters and war. It was initiated by Prof Myron Belfer, the Honorary President of IACAPAP, who has pledged to match all donations collected for this grant.

This summer, we are going to Benin in search of 20 partner orphanages for future practical training. During our visits, we intend to offer gifts, such as food, hygiene products and games. Our aim is to give people of caste the opportunity to build a better future. How? By giving away goats, which bring food and income through breeding. Goats not only provide nutritious milk and meat, but also valuable wool and other materials for further processing. Their simple breeding requires minimal resources and thus secures livelihoods in an efficient manner.

In Ukraine, thousands of windows are destroyed daily by explosions. Simultaneously, in Switzerland, thousands of intact windows end up in the trash every day. RE-WIN is a non-profit organization that collects old windows and sends them for reconstruction in Ukraine. This provides humanitarian aid, reduces construction waste, and lowers global CO2 consumption. Donors, volunteers, and Ukrainian refugees carry to the project together!

We help immigrants (mainly refugees) in Canton Lucerne to find a suitable leisure activity. The immigrants get to know local people, learn Swiss German and integrate better into Swiss society. The clubs/associations can access new talent from different cultures and profit from a diverse membership group. The better a society integrates newcomers, the more successful it is. Enable an excellent pupil who came to KKEV Cambodia’s children’s village as a half-orphan at the age of 9 to go to university. Maneth is a hardworking 18year old from an underprivileged background who tutors children in Khmer and maths. With a degree he will be able to live an independent life and break the cycle of poverty. His desire is to study English, work in tourism and teach Cambodian culture and history.

We dream of a space for artists in Dar es Salaam where we can meet, develop our talent and pursue artistic projects. There will be children's painting courses, workshops and neighborhood events and we will have a platform to network with artists worldwide. To make this dream come true, we need your support!

Miche Bora is the name of the school in Mombasa, Kenya, and it means "wonderful sprouts" in Swahili. And that's precisely what it's all about: giving children the best start in life, even in environments where growing up can be challenging. Much has already been accomplished at this primary school, but now, two new classrooms and the land on which they are to be built are urgently needed to continue helping as many children as possible.

Hundreds of thousands of buildings in Ukraine have been damaged by the war and millions of windows have been broken by Russian attacks and their shock waves. To help the people affected, we bring high-quality, used windows from Switzerland to Ukraine - 100-200 pieces per transport, depending on the size of the window. There they are installed to protect people from the cold and make their homes winter-proof.

With a construction project into financial independence! Since its founding in 2017, the Ujuzi Yetu Technical Institute has already helped more than 700 Kenyans to escape a future without prospects by learning skilled trades and thus being able to provide for their livelihood away from crime. However, these results have so far only been possible through donations - we would like to change that with your help!

Motivated by my conviction that everyone deserves a dignified life, my colleagues and I are walking 100 km in less than 24 hours in Switzerland to equip a home for the elderly in Dharamshala, India, with essential household appliances and to support the construction of a Buddhist-Tibetan monastery in Nyukmadung, a small village in Arunachal Pradesh, India. The goal is to improve the quality of life of these people.

Haus Wabi Sabi is a visionary model focused on meeting many needs under one roof: community café, spacious play area with childcare as needed, family lounge, yoga, meditation, events and co-working and a small shop. We aim to support mental, physical & emotional wellbeing with a holistic offering and to inspire people to live with more mindfulness. In order to continue to do this, we now need support ourselves after a challenging 3 years.
